I would guess the reason for the cutoff date was so they could get an actual count, order the blank shirts and then go to print. I did not order one myself but I would not get too worried for a couple weeks.

Yes perhaps it's a nice idea to upload pictures of us actually wearing the shirts? Puts a face to the generic avatars we see here every day...

I wonder if we could all get together with them on Saturday before the tournament for a shot? I assume that's when a lot of us will wear them?

Yesterday I received a letter of the Customs office that they had my shirts but were unable to decide the worth of the package and thus the import taxes... I should supply them with a receipt or the shirts would be sent back.

I'll do the maths:

- I bought 3 shirts this making $30,-

- P&P was a whopping $ 62,- but I deemed it worthwhile since I am giving one as a present.

- now I am probably going to have to pay an additional €22,- import tax...

Got my shirt and love it, thanks! I wore it to a Star Trek Attack Wing tournament yesterday.

There are a couple of players I have encountered that I would like to make a companion shirt for - "I'm endangering the mission. I shouldn't have come."

By and large, the X-Wing playing crowd has been awesome though.

True, but that's when they get it right! The Dutch post is awful: a while ago I also ordered some t-shirts from the US (by 80's Tees) but my shirts ended up with someone who had ordered prosthetic shoes, his shoes were delivered to a 3rd person and I got his package of Ozzy Bum underpants: I kid you not. We all got in contact with each other somehow and then were sent some special plastic bags in which we had to put the stuff and then drop it off at the postal agents. In all it took 3 weeks to get the stuff where it was supposed to be in the first place...

Got my shirts last week and today put one on to work. I am a History teacher and the first reaction I got from one of my co-workers (English teacher) there's a grammatical mistake in there it should be casualLY so I told him: talk to the Han cause the Wookie ain't listening...

The idea has been brought up that we need to do a group photo before the tournament starts on Saturday. Maybe 10:30, 10:45?

At least we'll be easy to spot to pull together for a group photo

I'll see about dragging the wife along to help with the photo. She's a good people wrangler. I know I'll have my camera with (DSLR). If she isn't coming, I'll bring a tripod. I know some FFG guys can help too.
