Looking real sharp! Not sure if i'm big on the imperial logo on the Tie's solar wing panel, but the shuttle is outstanding work. Gives me a good idea for my rebel repaints I will be undertaking shortly that I have not thought of yet, using the rebel logo (starkillers crest) on my ships..

To be honest I never really liked this ship, even in the films. I found an all black image of it last week during a Google image search, and now that I see RM's work too, I like this ship a lot.

That's quite a long story, originally I painted it in the traditional blueish white glow but it clashed horribly with the window pane (The fact that I had the Yellowish colour on the wing didn't help). So I repainted it. Started with a Scab Red, worked through Blood Red, Blazing and Fiery Orange then all the way up to Vallejo Pale sand. Normally I feather each layer, but for some reason I was getting a really wierd trough in the middle when I used wet paint (it just kept appering), so in the end I had to use far more layers and lay each layer down by hand rather than wet blending.

I can't show you my shuttle as it isn't painted yet, but I can show you my Firespray and two of my Ice Squadron fighters.

They are not as good as yours (which are astoundingly gorgeous) but I'm quite happy with the result!

Yes. Next up (after some finishing touches to the A-Wing who recieved some nasty scratches taking down Boba Fett one on one last night) are three X-Wings and two Y-Wings. Then, once I have purchased the HWK I plan to paint it rusty metallic with a few patches showing the blue color.

First of all, yours is AWESOME. Second, it makes me want to take better pics of mine. Nice job highlighting your phenomenal work.

PS. I discovered that even if you're a moderate player, people will watch you play at worlds just to see your sweet paint fly around

I'm really liking the 'black' shuttles. Not that I'm intending to re-paint mine (due to general lack of skill and talent with a paintbrush) but if I did I was thinking of a nice deep 'Emperor' red!

Go to GW, ask for a painting lesson and say I would like to learn how to paint a Blood Angel.. then don't buy anything from them except washes and use the same technique on you shuttle... OR.. I will do a basic painting tutorial about how to paint a basic Emperor's Guard Interceptor.
