What happens in a tournament in A symetrical games?

By xycrone, in Android: Netrunner The Card Game

I am new to lcg and ccg games and especially asymmetrical lcg games; infact A:Ntcg is the only asymmetrical game I can think of except maybe starwars.

So do I have to play 1 time as a corp and 1 time as a runner or what? I need help to rap my head around this, to see if I would like to buy the game.

Say for example, my friend wants to play as a runner but so do I, then what? Or in tournaments if we have to play both corp and runner but I win all matches as a runner but lose all as a corp how is the winner decided?

I think you'll want to read the tournament rules, available in the support section for Netrunner. Here's the direct link for your convenience.

TY:)

So really you need at least 2 decks, but that is also interesting.

I believe it's the same in Star Wars; you're expected to bring one Light Side and one Dark Side deck to each tournament.

Practice running to improve your Corp play, practice Corp to improve your running ;-)

[as an aside, "asymmetrical" is one word.]

Netrunner has had you play as both the runner and the corp during tournaments since the 90s.

Star Wars follows the same style.
