Daredevil on an X-Wing

By Englishpete, in X-Wing

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of putting Daredevil on Wedge or Luke. The ability to turn 2 hard and then 1 hard seems to be very useful, even with a stress. Using an R2 makes shedding the stress easy enough as well.

Have you all had any experience with this set up?

No but it sounds fairly maneuverable. If you try it out let us know! :D

To use Daredevil correctly you need to take the Engine Upgrade so you're not rolling for damage every time you use it. As I'm always using Shields and Stealth when I run my Luke/Wedge/Biggs list I haven't tried it on them yet.

It does start to get pricey, but boost also opens options. Looks like I need a test flight

I've used it on Darth Vader with engine upgrade, loads of fun as long as you're not up against ships with 360 firing arcs, especially not ion turrets. You don't want to be stressed with some of those nearby :-)

Haven't played it, but it certainly has promise since boost and daredevil would help take away the biggest edge tie class ships have, their flat out better maneuverability compared to every rebel that isn't an A-wing. You still won't be outflying squints but the other ones will have some trouble. Wedge especially would be good with this since he already has a high attack and a defense nerfing power so he can afford to burn actions on boost instead of focus or target lock.

I like putting Daredevil on my A-Wing pilots.
