So you block via Criminal Past and have an empty card pool. You react with Demuths sponsorship, revealing a Neo Raging Storm. Do you play it or no? I assume no ![]()

Can't trumps can.
Neo Raging Storm's card text would prevent Demuth's from playing it. However since it is still an attack it wouldn't go to momentum, it'd just go back to the top of the deck.

What i thought. This came up today (before i saw this ruling) and we ditched it to momentum since it was not played. Can i get a stamp that the card remains on top of the deck?
Makes sense enough just want to see a stamp ![]()
edit; wasnt sure if the "otherwise" is dependant on it being played, or it being an attack.
i agree with Smazzy here.
since the card didn't get played, the rest of the ability states what will happen. so, the attack would go to momentum.
