Just wanted to say a big thanks for all the support and feedback I've got from everyone on the mats. Within 24 hours of getting them listed on ebay half of them had gone I've found two gaming shops who will stock them and have made orders, hopefully I'll be able to coax some more into taking them.

So yeh...thanks guys, your positive comments, feedback, suggestions and purchases have made all this happen...and who knows maybe more will come of it.

As the GF9 mats retail at around £27 online and in store for £30 I thought £25.99 was a pretty reasonable price for a high quality mat. And if you keep in mind that at the moment I'm not printing them nearly on the same scale as GF9 and therefore paying a lot more for them, same goes for packaging, I'm actually quite happy that I've been able to keep the price down to what it is.

Price seems fine, If I lived in the UK I'd be all over it. International shipping has me weighing other options. Gorgeous star field though. I may break down on a future printing.

Your Comment is OUTRAGEOUS! Have you shopped around for battlemats? Consider this; someone from the community made this and IMO is keeping the price exceptionally competitive considering he's not doing Bulk Printing of these. If I were in the UK this would be a steal due to the quality, and the fact it's CUSTOM Made and you won't IMO find a more beautifully done starfield ever. It Screams Imperial Dominance and Screams PLAY ON ME NOW!

Ships do not slip so easily, as if You use only the table. The game area is easier to see and if the ship drifts out of the area, then You can see that too. While playing anyway to mat creates more atmosphere. I am glad that I bought the game mat! I highly recommend it to pig one for You!

I just started with X-Wing and has a friend who is doing those banner printings (beside printing other stuff) for a living. So I had it already on my mind to get him print a mat for me (will get a price from him later this week, as he will also doing a few sets of acrylic templates for me to go along with the mats ); your project here gave me some more inspiration, thanks a lot. One thing though: While I see the benefit of the 10cm border for game material I will leave it away to enable players to connect several mats for a larger gaming area (for games of 200+ points).
