Some fan-made content for DH2e Beta (Update #3)

Figured that I may as well put up some of the fan content I've been working on for the DH2e Beta. I'm starting a campaign this Saturday using the Beta in its current state and I figured that I may as well share what I've got with the community, in case anyone wants to use it.

Home World - Schola Progenium

Characteristic Modifiers:

+ Intelligence

+Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill

- Toughness

Fate Threshold:

3 (Emperor’s Blessing 8+)

Home World Bonus:

Whenever you would make a Remembrance skill check that does not require a Specialty, you may gain a +20 bonus to your check.

Signature Trauma:

Midnight Visitations (Dead mother/father, likely, perhaps expressing disapproval of your actions.)

Mind Cleansed

Home World & Background (Combo Package)

Characteristic Modifiers:

+ Willpower

+ (Your Choice)

-Fellowship

Fate Threshold:

2 (Emperor’s Blessing 7+)

Home World & Background Bonus:

Start play with 1d5-1 Insanity Points.

Whenever you would fail a test with 1 degree of failure, you may gain 2 Insanity Points to count as passing that test with 1 degree of success.

Also, At the GM’s discretion, certain rare events, individuals and even things like phrases, sights, and smells may trigger “repressed” memories. When this happens, you must make a Fear (Cowering) test. If you fail, then you gain a number of Insanity points determined by the GM.

Signature Mental Trauma:

Split Personality (Likely, whatever she assumes her original personality to be.)

Signature Malignancy:

Degenerate Mind

Starting Skills:

Observe, Remembrance, Logic, Tech-Use, Evade, (Choose One)

Starting Talents:

Cold-Hearted, Specialist (Choose One), Resistance (Fear), Weapon Proficiency (Low-Tech, Solid Projectile, Las)

I have enclosed a series of House Rules that have been developed during the campaign that I'm running at the moment. We are currently on the 3rd session at the moment. 4 of these players have not had any contact with the WH40kRPG 1st ed rules, and have taken to this rule-set with much enjoyment. (I have shown them snippets of the rules from Only War and have informed them of the direction the Beta is moving. Needless to say, they are rather confused.)

I know these forums have become rather deserted, but I figured I'd post this:

Let me know if you have any opinions on set of House Rules, as I mainly tackle the idea of Wounds, making the Condition table an optional addition.
