story question on Edge of Darkness scenario (SPOILER ALERT)

By The Laughing God, in Dark Heresy Gamemasters

So the Chirurgeon provides Luntz' narco-gangers with serums they can use to make drugs from (I suppose).

But what do the narco-gangers do for the Chirurgeon? It says somewhere she wants to make them complicit to her plans but I haven't read anywhere exactly what they have done for her lately :)

Thnx.

The narco gangers run interference for the Chirugeon- they deter newcomers, keep their ears open for suspicious strangers and learn to stay indoors during the night cycle, so no one interferes with or reports on the collectors.

Thanks for your answer! Did you read this somewhere in the adventure of deduce yourself?

When I'm going to run this scenario, I will crank up the narco-ganger's role cause at the moment I find it too shallow. Maybe they were supplying the Chirurgeon with bodies for her experiments until she made enough bodysnatchers to take over.

I am running the adventure right now with a group of three (Void Commercia; Sinophian Penal Legionaire; Loyal Imperial "Agent" (Assassin).
Here is my actual take on the connection between the Narco-Gang and the Narco-Syndicate.

WARNING! HEAVY SPOILERS!
WARNUNG! Wenn dein Name Michael S, Jan M. oder Jan W. ist und dein Spielleiter einen Bart hat, solltest du das hier NICHT LESEN!

In my version, it was the Narco-Syndicates to "open up" the district (Coscarla) in the first place. They bribed Logan Ward & the other Enforcers and "gave" the Territory it to Lutz and his Gang in order to "work it".
The Churgeon, already having established contact to the Syndicate through traffic in chemicals, struck a deal: offering a steady supply of drugs manfuctered inside Coscarla for help to set up shop there and an allowance to start some "medical research" there. The Syndicate agreed, Lutz got order from the men above him to cooperate. He even introduces Moran, the "right hand" of this "Churgeon" to Logan Ward.

That is how it started. The Syndicate help to bribe some of the officials in the Tantalus Kombine to turn a blind and to hand them over the Alms House. To the surprise of Lutz, these "Logicians" did not used it as an abandoned buildung but kept the impression of a working Alms House.

Next thing is, that "Logicians" ambush the Magistrat men. Those on duty got lured into traps, those in the station house get shoot by Moran and two of his men (which Logan allowed him, expecting he was there to talk about "something business") and the rest of them got killed in there hab home block in the north..together with their families. All in one night and one fell swoop. Then, the Logician Killers replaced all of them but Logan Ward. Logan is now scared to death, ashamed of him self and his drug uses has increased. He is told that Logicians have an eye on him. And he really believes it!

Lutz iistrusts the Churgeon. Bein a stone-cold killer himself, he is wondering what this inhuman "Churgeon" is up to if the slaughter of a dozen magistrat men is part of his plan... but he can´act against the Logicians since they have a deal with the Syndicate.

Sounds like a good and plausible concept!

Thanks! In my opinion, this part needed some "flesh out". Especially since I found it a bit "curious" that the modul (which I am quiet found of!) did not gave any reasons to how a whole station crew of magistrate enforcers gets "replaced". I considered "bribing" first, but that did not gave me the fell that there is a reason for them being "replaced" completely.

This way, there is not only a reason "why" but also a good reason for Logan to be so scared about the Logicians...and as soon as my pc find out they will get the feel that "these Logicians" are well organized, professional and utterly ruthless. Like they should be. gui%C3%B1o.gif

That's the the way I played them, but when the Acolytes started taking out the Logician Agents, they came out of their building and offered to help 'retake' the district. Basically they assualted Moran and the remaining Agents held up at the Magistrate station while the acolytes took care of the Churgeon.

Of course, when the Arbitrators came down to clean things up, Moran and Luntz had fled.
