What a great day... I'm sitting at home organising for a game of Edge of Empire this Friday night when I get an sms from my LGS owner.

"How many TIE Advanced's were you after?"

I read the message, and replied, oh no more, I'm just wanting the twin pack now thanks... then I put down my phone. A few seconds later something flashed in my head and I near broke my arm reaching for my phone to re-read the original message. TIE ADVANCED?!?!?!?! I re-replied... "Umm, I want... be there in 2 minutes!"

I grabbed my x-wing stuff and headed to the store. OK, I already have 2, not wanting to be greedy, I purchased 1 knowing that the other would not last long. And it didn't.

The weird thing about all this (apart from the fact that the LGS had received 2 Wave 1 ships at all), is that the LGS didn't even have them ordered?!?! They just turned up, out of thin air amongst another order.

Oh happy days. That is all of my wants filled for now. Just waiting for Wave 3 and the twin-pack to appear now.

Just wanted to share my good fortune with others.

Are they rare at the moment or something? my lgs has one on the shelf currently but tends to have loads of them (UK).

I just gave one of my Tie Adv. away because I never fly them.

Can't find Wave 1 anything in Australia atm. Alot of the stores (B&M and online) are touting 2nd week of Oct for their restocks of a few things... but late November has been the earliest I've seen anyone mention possibly having stock of Wave 1 ships.
