Ok I'm still a little new to the game. I have some questions about Anti Pursuit Laser. Mainly dose it trigger Vader or the Gunners ability?

the way I read it is that you are not actually making an attack, so Vader or Gunner would not be triggered. what APL does is basically turn you into a moving asteroid

by moving asteroid I mean that they take possible damage, not that they don't get an action for that turn

They don't get an action either if they overlapped the base triggering the APL.

The enemy ship has to overlap your ship. It would have to specify the movement template as well in order for flying through to trigger APL.
