Happy B-Day, FFG. You've really struck gold and done it well. And as other have said before me: Now shut up and take my money :-)

I myself got fed up with GW. 100 dollar rulebooks, $50 hardback codexes, flopcast, and 6th edition (THE most tedious edition to date) forces me into a hiatus after being a ravenous owner of multiple armies, national tourney hopping, and constant local play. I started with Rogue Trader and never slowed down until this horrid edition and current insane price point.

A state of depression had set in....seriously. My much loved hobby was in its death throes. I was devolving into the socially horrible habit of all video gaming/all day. I like video games but tabletop minies has always been where it is at for me.

In a desparate gambit to maintain my mini hobby, I told my wife that this Star Wars fighter game looked sort of cool and I wouldnt mind getting some of it for Christmas. She bought me one of everything last year and my hobby was thusly rescued as I seriously discovered this company. Its just like the GW I remember falling in love with back in the late 80s early 90s. Quality gaming by peeps that understand what we want.

Not only has my collection grown exponentially...but ive discovered FFGs boardgaming genius. Talisman, Relic, Horus Heresy, Arkham Horror, Netrunner. W/o GW draining my wallet....I discovered that games are actually cheap! WTF? Miniature Market has pretty well filled my gameroom with lots of new stuff that isnt scary for guests who arent into 40k to try. Non gamer friends love to play relic and talisman....theyre easy. My son has a grasp of x-wing and is always eager to play. Im done with GWs horrible and sloppy excuse for rules writing.

This game, X-Wing brought my hobby back from the brink and is going strong. I love it! What a company. They deserve all this success and I hope they go from strength to strength.

Another fan for life here. Hurry up and get those Galactica models out....and secure the rights for prequal SW fighters. My credit card awaits!
