I like these guys too. Watching the interview videos recently from 2013 GC, anybody with a good heart can see that these are cool people.
X-Wing is the game that got me back into Miniatures after a 13 year hiatus.

Having only been in the game for a few months, I can say I'm addicted for life! I've never been into miniature games, or really any tabletop games for that matter. FFG kept true to Star Wars and it shows with their following.
I'd be interested to see how X-Wing stacks up to their other games within the first year of launch...
I love it. I don't get to play enough now that I moved but I still spend a lot of time thinking about it and, obviously, posting here.
Ha! I didn't realize it was that specific day. That's my 10th wedding anniversary. She didn't want any Wave 3 for her anniversary gift this year tho. Sadness.

Indeed, Bravo! 1 year down with waves 1-3 now out. Imperial Aces due out in 2013 Q4 and the big ships in 2014 Q1. We have come a long way!
Best game on the market. Until they unveil their Star Wars capital ship space combat game in a new scale!

I have not really heard of Fantasy Flight Games before X-wing. Now, I can't get enough from FFG and X-wing (hell, anything Star Wars). You have made a fan for life. Just don't screw things up, is all I ask.

I'll second that. They are one of the best run companies I have seen in a long time making anything from pots and pans to pet supplies. What they are doing with X-Wing is simply amazing. I am a fan like you for life. Before X-Wing I didn't care about these kinds of games much, but now I see all the good work they do, and it deserves honor.

Unfortunately I have only played maybe half a dozen times. My current work schedule doesn't allow me to enjoy the game as I would like to. However, the community here has been overwhelmingly positive. It's refreshing from other tournament mini games. Hats off to you, the fans and players too. Not just FFG.

I gave up on games flop shop back in 2000 after ten years of seriously supporting them as a co-owner of a game store, with a very active group of friends.
I just purchased new miniatures for the first time since then, back in November: one X-Wing, one Tie Advanced, and one Tie Fighter.

Well i have played Battlestar galactica board game. Its a frakking good game. Is you need some time off x-wing (and i cant see why you wanna do that) then try out BSG...
