Can you host multiple cards on personal workshop?

By zzz, in Android: Netrunner Rules Questions

I know hosting a card takes a click but if I spend multiple clicks can I host a bunch of cards at once?

Yes. However each workshop can only remove a single counter at each start of turn phase (not one from each card hosted). If you have two workshops in play, and each has a card hosted however, each workshop will remove a counter from one of its own hosted cards.

Maybe I misunderstood this tutorial but somehow he shows activating multiple programs off Personal Workshop in a run.

If this tutorial is correct, one powerful card there.

I haven't watched the video so I'm not sure if it is done correctly or not but there is no problem with activating multiple cards during a run. You just need to pay the cost of the card to remove it from the workshop.

It is indeed a very powerful card especially since it synergises quite well with cards like stimhack and any other cards that let you use credits during a run

Indeed; one of the abilities on PW is to spend credits to remove counters, instead of waiting for your start of turn to remove one free. As this doesn't cost a click, you can spend as many creds as you like to do this during a paid ability window, so there's no reason you can't pull several cards off PW on a run (you can still only host - that is, place a card ONTO PW - one card per click however).

As Frybender points out, this allows you to Stimhack, and spend those 9 creds to pull your hosted cards into play with the Stimhack money, which is a very common combo. Bad Publicity works too, as each BP gives you 1 free credit per run - if you have no other need of it, why not spend it to speed up PW?

The tutorial is correct. Note that he *never* activates any programs on the Personal Workshop. Rather, he activates the Personal Workshop to remove tokens from the programs.
