Getting more board tiles.

By Rokassan, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Can you order more tiles for Descent. Being made of cardboard the do tend to fray a bit after being used alot.

Personally, I'd like them made in wood as a collector's edition.

But I don't believe you can buy Descent board tiles individually here, maybe you'll get lucky on ebay or a third-party who deals in replacement parts for boardgames. If you want tiles, you'll have to buy the original descent or related expansion again... But hey, at least you'll be able to make larger dungeons cool.gif

True. just dont need doubles of every hero. I could use doubles of everything else though. Wife might not appreciate me spending $80 on a game I already have. Id check ebay of course.

Another option is to get a set of those Descent inspired molds and pour your own plaster cast versions. This is something I have been considering but my group doesn't play consistently to warrant frayed edges with my Dungone pieces. If I see one of my dungeon boards starting to get a bit rough I will toss a bit of crazy glue on that end.

That works well? Ill give it a shot.

What about using the Dungeon Tiles sets available for the D&D roleplaying game. There are different sets of card-stock material, that aren't as nicely made as our Descent stuff, but could be used as well. They have no noses, but plain edges. The size of the sqaures should be the same. I have some of those, but never had to use them, as I am a pain in the ass when it comes to taking care of my gaming materials. I tend to be overprotective ;)
