New Tie Interceptors Annouched "Earn Your Bloodstripes"
The Royal Guard Tie upgrade and Kir Kannos are amazing. Carnor Jax will also be a boon to Tie Swarms, I think.

Wow! Very excited for this. Kir Kanos looks so awesome, and I really love the "Opportunist" upgrade. Could see that getting a LOT of play. Can't wait!
Yea, I hope they do a Rebel one too. Would be neat to see some variants and some new Pilots, particularly for the X/A Wings
Wow. I'm going to have to pickup 2 sets I think, which means I'll end up with 9 interceptors. I'm betting this means we'll see a Rebel Aces set coming soon too that includes Rogue Squadron. Very excited!

As far as rebel aces i too hope they will do that. But i think this pack was designed to counter the "escort ship" and pilots that come with the Epic Transport Ship. Rebels get new pilots in the form of that package. Although i hope they make that escort ship and pilots available separate from the Transport ship as well

Some very cool stuff in there. I wasn't sure if I was gonna bother with this set or not. But seeing the pilots in there I'll have to pick up at least one.
Both Kir Kanos and Carnor Jax look very interesting. Kir seems to almost be an answer to Wedge. Jax could also be quite painful due to his AoE action denial type ablity.
I wonder if this set will be part of Wave 4, or if Wave 4 will be something else competely... I'm sorta leaning towards something else.
I could see FFG releasing a lot of these kinds of sets. Rogue Squad, Rebel aces for Y's and B's... Would give them the ability to add a lot of ships and cards but reuse the existing models.

Are there any famous X-Wing squadrons besides the Rogues? I know there is CorSec, but they aren't exactly elite.

This is rampant speculation, but... I think the Rebel Aces pack, or whatever they call it, will be the A-wing first. The Interceptor has generally been a disappointment except for Fel, and these new pilots seem to be making up for the generally underwhelming base ship with solid abilities. If that is the case, the A-wing and Y-wing seem like good candidates, and I think the A-wing needs it more.
I like Kir a lot - he basically makes Evade equal to Focus. You can use it offensively or defensively, and the balance between evade and focus becomes one guarantee vs. all eyeballs. Carnor is continuing the theme of action influence we saw start with Ten and Autoblaster. They're both great ships, which the Empire needs.

These packs will be a huge boost. It's almost going to provide enough scenarios for a campaign with the others from prior releases.

I haven't looked through much yet but Carnor Jax is going to be such a crazy denial ship. I love this direction for the game.
What am I going to do? I mean, obviously get the set so I can run the EGI I've converted. But now I don't know how to mix up Interceptor versions. Currently I have an EGI and a Saber squadron.. But what do I do with the next 2?
1 EGI, 2 Saber, 1 without blood stripes?
2 EGI, 2 Saber?
1 EGI, 1 Saber, 2 without stripes?

FFG wants more of my money and I am happy to comply. This is a great idea. The paint schemes are sweet and the card selection is outstanding- Push the Limit is a sweet, sweet inclusion!
Does the mission sound like the "Imperial Prototype" is the TIE Defender to anyone else?
I only have two TIE interceptors, so when I saw this I was excited to bolster my collection, but alas, I'll still need to buy more TIE interceptor expansions for the Alpha and Avenger Squadron Pilots. I think I'm going to end up with more TIE interceptors than TIE fighters!

Probably a EGI, the Emperor's Guard Interceptors were constantly upgraded with new tech, and fits the set.
I need more Interceptors and this will definitely be how I get them. Very exciting!
After seeing the new cards, I wish this set was out now.
If I'm reading Kir Kanos right he adds 1 hit. So 3 attack dice + plus 1 automatic hit with spending the evade token equals 4 possible hits.
