German expantions?

By mr.thomasschmidt, in X-Wing

Hi.

Can someone from Germany please confirm or dismiss that this game exists in german? I just ordered an expantion from Germany (I live in Norway so it was cheaper and easier this way) But now I just became uncertain if the text will be in german or in english

Any help would be appesiated :)

I have seen german ships on ebay.de

With german names, Tie Interceptor for example..

Here in Sweden we got wave 1 ships in Swedish..

Well I hope you get english versions but I wouldnt count on it.

Tie-Abfangjäger... wow...

I'm now more grateful than ever that they've left english names in polish version ;]

@mr.thomasschmidt: Yep, the game exists in german. The german expansions are usually cheaper than the english versions. German Onlineshops usually sell both english and german versions of the expansions.

offizieller seller in deutschland ist der Heidelberger Spieleverlag

schreib die doch mal an und die senden dir das bestimmt nach norwegen

Okay. Thanks to everyone. I have wrote the seller and asked. On the pic at the order site it's clearly English but the description text is all in German.

@extesy Vielen dank. Aber es war das englischen Versionen das ich möchte. Hows my Dutch? I'm Danish but it's been a looong time since I've use what I learned in my german language lessons :)

They apparently made a lot of languages for Wave 1 but after it was sold out i had to wait very long for resupply in french. If i waited for wave 2 in french i would still not have them probably. So from now on i will just stick to english. I should have done that from the beginning really, but back then nobody even had an idea this game would be a success or that it would have expansions!

;)

I have to core game in Swedish and English.

The Swedish pilots are left over in my duplicate box.

But it`s nice to have the damage cards in 2 different languare.

It`s easy to keep them apart that way when we play at my house.

I wanted some

Tie-Abfangjäger

but when Amazon.de had them in stock, they were wayyyy more expensive than the English language ones they also sell.

Does anyone have the cards and want to trade for English ones?

Just saying... Dutch is what they speak in the Netherlands, Deutsch is what they speak in Germany. But up to that point it was pretty much correct if we don't get too pedantic about it.

So in other words...my Dutch isn't so good?? :D Stupid me, I new that but misspelled it completely.

Try looking on ebey. I ordered one from a seller on i think it was ebey.com or co.uk. I got to cancel it though so I can't trade with you ;) But it was very cheap compared to the english versions.

Nice thing to have. Something to remember for me. I have lived and studyed in Uppsala and know Swedish very well. I now live in Norway though, but maybe I should grab a Swed core next time in Sweden :)

Do it!

But I think it doesent sell so well, cause the Swedish expansions is 179kr,

and the english versions are ~125kr.

And the Swedish version is sold more in toystores than Boardgame stores.
But the Swedish core set is at -48% discount now ~250kr where the English version is 299kr.

(The Swedish versions is branded Peliko, www.peliko.se It`s a Finnish company. They got an Finnish and Norweigan version aswell. Not sure about Danish though)

I live in Berlin, got my core game from Amazon.UK in English, but everything else bought in the local store so in German. Kind of like the mix.

Kreischlaufer is my favorite German pilot name (Howlrunner)

or maybe Geflugelter Gundark :D

(Excuse lack of umlauts)

Didn't take it that way either :) just tried to be funny. Like, okay the things I wrote in Deutsch was pretty bad Dutch hehe. Just like anything written in English is pretty bad Danish.
