I live in Ventura CA and our local store is trying to have a tournament with some game night season 1 prize support.

I'm trying to see if there's enough people willing to drive out here.

Or if not then does anyone know of any stores that hold tourneys and such? Somewhere in LA preferably, don't want to drive to oc

I was at Brookhurst Hobbies last Friday picking up some Wave 3 ships(could not wait for my pre-order that is arriving today). They have folks playing X-wing on Sundays at 3pm. I have been trying to get over there on Sundays, but it is conflicting with 9er games.

Well, you can count me in. I remember calling them months ago in my search for a place that would be hosting X-Wing and/or SW LCG... Good on you for getting a solid commitment if you can get the numbers.

I know it might be a bit far, but there is a really good place for X-Wing at JJ's Game Lounge in Chatsworth (West San Fernando Valley). I think there are over a dozen people that play there (usually I'm there on Sat with my X-wing stuff).

There is actually a 2v2 tournament this Sat (9/28). Its 120pts total, split between two people using the rules in the core-set (no showing dials and everything is discussed in front of opponents). Signups are at noon, starting at 12:30. I'm still trying to nail down who my teammate is going to be since my one friend won't be able to make it. There is also a month long league that is almost over (play two games a week each worth 1 to 4 points), I'm hoping they'll do another one in a month or two.

If I don't have something on a Sat at JJ's then I would be willing to drive out to a tourney in Ventura, just have to plan ahead.

Just to let anyone else that didn't know. Game Empire in Pasadena is having a x wing league this thursday at 7 pm. Entry fee is 6 dollars for 5 weeks of play every thursday. Game night kit prizes will be rewarded.
