The Best Ship (There Can Be Only One).

By Joe Boss Red Seven, in X-Wing

A-Wing just for nostalgia's sake.

B-Wing. I don't think 3 is gonna be enough...

Lambda Shuttle - Not for playability but just because its cool.

Followed by Tantive IV. oops not released

Maybe the Falcon

Followed by... hmm, well, hmm Bomber or Interceptor, Transport (oops not released), no not the transport.

X-Wing for the same reason.

99% of the time playing XvT or X-Wing alliance I flew the X.

Yeah...if there could be only two; Falcon, X-Wing.

^_^

Right. 6 Y-Wings and 6 B-Wings are on my list, right after I get 10 X-Wings and 20 Tie Fighters.

Just for fun. Which of the FFG ships released thus far, is your favorite.

For me it has to be The Millennium Falcon.

:D

It is the Millennium Falcon. I sleep with mine right next to my bed. The FFG ship is one of the best looking things ever manufactured in my opinion. It costs a lot to play the game with, but it is worth it for sure.

TIE Interceptor, hands down ... if they ever release a TIE Defender, I may have to reconsider (due to the great memories of piloting one in the TIE Fighter game back in the 90s), but nostalgia will probably still give the Interceptor the edge.

(Oh, and hello, everyone: this is my first post after a few weeks' worth of lurking.)

Y-Wing, absolutely and twice on Sundays.

B-Wing. I don't think 3 is gonna be enough...

Durn tootin' - that's why I have 4 (so far). :D

Y-Wing, absolutely and twice on Sundays.

Y-Wing with a blaster turret would probably be a close second for me.

Personally i love the look of the Tie Advanced...i'm just disappointed in it's playability :/

A-Wing.

I am a Mon -Fri Y-Wing fan, I love the ship, so on a "Only Three" list, it is number three...

Who did we all see leaving the destroyed Death Star after all?

The Falcon, two X-Wings (Luke and Wedge) and one Y-Wing.

Does anybody know who was in that Y-Wing?

I believe it was Keyan Farlander who survived in the Y-Wing. I am sure there were a couple TIEs somewhere who were saying "I keep shooting him and shooting him and he just won't die!"

Yep

Interceptor for me. The ship that's the most fun to fly!

Interceptor. Most beatiful ship ever created.

Indeed, Keyan Farlander was flying the surviving Yavin Y-Wing, and IIRC, he was was flying an Y-Wing because he just lent his X-Wing Red-5 to a rookie who had just arrived for the battle.

The low-end, generic, utilitarian, crunchy fall-back mainstay of the Empire: The TIE Fighter.

Though if FFG ever releases the TIE Defender, that would take my vote.

The Y-Wing is one of my favorite ships in the Star Wars universe and I would have wished it as a heavy ordinance carrier with a topside turret to dissuade attackers, kind of like torpedo bombers from World War Two. It's basically used only for the ion effects on the tabletop, and I'm disappointed that it cannot practically do anything else.

Seconded!

Here here. TIE Interceptor. Nimble as a pinball with teeth to boot.

Space Slugs!

Oh, wait you said released. ****.

No love for the best ship in the game. Tie Interceptor FTW of course.
