Can you retrofit 2 hangers bays in a Action VI bulk Transport?
It seem to me if you mod them both 1 time you can have 4 silhouette 3 starfighters on it(or up to 6 starfighters with max 4 mods each). It would make the prefact base for some pirates?
Can you fit 2 hangers? what down side do you see with this idea?
assumption: mods for the retrofit hanger bays give +1 space to max space (and not + max space)

Your assumption is actually incorrect based on relatively current developer statements. Each mod actually adds your original max capacity to your hangar capacity, not the inferred "+1 to max capacity." Andy Fisher commented on that last Sunday, saying that it might need some errata to make more clear and more useful to the different size categories.

We apparently listened to two very different podcasts.
Andy's response was more "this is how I'd see it, but it needs to be revised because both interpretations are technically right" where Sam Stewart's was more "this is how it actually is." Given that Andy even said that Sam was the guy that worked on all the starship stuff, I'd be inclined to say that Sam's answer is the more valid one, at least until such time as some form of errata or update (such as the AoR Beta updates) gets released.
