I believe that I have stated how the process works already, but I will do so again.

We order from multiple suppliers. We have confirmed numbers from multiple suppliers. We pre-sold a lot of Wave 3 X-Wing. We did not oversell a single ship, even with getting heavy allocations on the HWK and less than we ordered on others.

Not all of our suppliers stock has reached us yet, so in fact we are waiting for more product (the numbers that have been shipped are confirmed and en route, so it is coming).

Some will likely show up today and the remainder tomorrow (barring any issues - but we have confirmed that our orders are on trucks).

The warehouse manager takes the preorders and separates out pure wave 3 preorders (goes to a few people who literally stand next to cases of ships and pull the orders in chronological order). Orders with non-preorder items and/or items that have non-Wave 3 preorders go to another group of employees who then work through them chronologically as well (this does take longer as they have to pull the items from all over the warehouse).

So if your order has not shipped as of yet, please realize that it is due to deliveries that have yet to be received and instead of holding the whole process, those orders are set aside until the stock arrives (and again it is coming - the supplier release date was this week so it is not over due yet).

I am sorry if any of you feel slighted because somebody else has reported that they have received notification already, but the orders are being worked on and in chronological order.

If it makes any difference, I as am employee am still waiting on my preorder (placed on 6-7-13) for 2 HWK's (reason why I don't have my order yet), 2 Lambda's, 3 B-Wing's, and 3 TIE Bombers. I am in the same boat in that regard and my solace is that I know that they are coming (I speak to the suppliers) and I was able to stand in FFG's line at GenCon and purchase one of each of Wave 3 (couldn't wait!).

Thank you very much for the explanation, the process you describe sounds excellent. This is the first time I have seen the process laid out in full, and I appreciate it.

The few moments you spent to clarify this has certainly paid off at least as far as I am concerned.

On 9/10 I received a shipping notification for my preorder of 2x B-wing placed on 9/5.

Today (9/12) I received shipping notification for my preorder of 2x HWK-290, 2x TIE bomber, 1x Lambda shuttle placed on 9/1.

I don't know exactly what might have held up the larger order (whether it was an individual ship or several), but hopefully this helps reassure some people. Hopefully your orders will ship soon!

Pre-ordered 2 Bs, 2 bombers, and a lambda on 9/10, and got the confirmation email at 11:45 am pacific today. I can't complain.

I'm never going to order from MM again as long as I live, and for good measure I'm going to quit playing X-Wing as well. This is the worst thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life.

There are always risks in pre-ordering , there is never an absolute gurananty as to when you get it.....To blame anyone for the discomfort just look into the mirror.... My order is in at LGS, I didn't get in to pick it up today though.

So I currently am waiting for 2 orders from MM. One of them has the Starfield Game Tile Kit in it which has been knocked back to 4Q. Does any one know if MM is allowing costomers to change this product out to speed up order fufillment? I have had zero luck trying to deal with their customer service people so far.

Just got my first B-wing in the mail, other 2 and my hwk should be here soon. This model is really beautiful, as a cynical upper classmen in college, I have been flying it around with my hands like a kid for 15 minutes now.

Not to worry, mr.schmidt, tuco was satirizing the more dramatic posts from the doom-and-gloom chicken littles. Though I personally believe that miniature market should be prosecuted in The Hague for crimes against humanity.

I picked up mine at the store and they had stacks and stacks of orders to go out and this was on tuesday. Hopefully everyone got thiers by now!! Really cool stuff. I am glad I finally decied to pick up the Hwk 290. Much cooler ship than I imagined it to be.

You must have a very easy life if this is the worst thing that has happened to you. You really ought to be grateful for that.

This is the kind of stuff that makes being a smarta$$ worth it.

I got my confirmation from MM first thing this morning. Now I'll just have to go about my business complaining about UPS deliver times.

Having received my shipping confirmation from MM, I now have to complain about UPS. They aren't planning to deliver until Monday! If the world ends on Sunday and I don't get my ships, I swear I will never order through UPS again.

Since I was one of the people complaining earlier, I have to say that the extra effort to clearly communicate the process alleviated all my concerns. I think most companies would do well to imitate MM and make the extra effort to let people know what is going on.

I ordered on 25 August and checked all the items to see what they had inventory (not sold out), my order status is "Processing Multiple Preorders". I might regret ordering some Wave 2 with the wave 3 stuff, hopefully not.

Finally got notification my order has shipped.

My email came this morning too. For some reason I just don't feel that bitter towards MM for getting my order out on the announced release date at 33% off MSRP with free shipping. But for those of you getting out of the game over your grossly unfair experience, I have one question for you: "May I have your ships?".

Just got confirmation from MM at 1:53pm today, that my order has shipped. I have 2 B's, 2 Hwk's, 1 Lambda, and 2 Bombers coming within the next two weeks.
