Don't pay over MSRP (shipping and tax) yet. I'm going to my FLGS tomorrow and will check their stock if you want.

Paying shipping and tax is cheaper than paying what some of the interceptors where going for a while back.

I paid $14.99 for a HWK on ebay, feeling much better about life now. And I absolutely refuse to pay over retail for ANY unit. I started playing probably 4-5 months ago when pretty much everything was out of stock but got 3x Y-Wing, 4x X-Wing, 5x ln, 1x x1, 3x A, 3x Int, 2x Fire, 1x YT for retail or less.

(amendment - I DID pay over retail for 1 Int, but it came with 5 of the Tournament Focus Tokens )

I'm not doubting I will get the 3x HWK and Lambda I ordered. I AM doubting getting them before Christmas, as I'm almost certain MM has run out of their first shipment and it might be a while before they get more in.

And that is exactly what I don't get. Afraid that they are out of their first shipment?? They aren't. You can still order 3 out of the 4 ships in this wave. They only sell to you what they have in stock OR what they know they will have in stock in their first shipment. And they haven't run out yet. So of cause you will get it before Christmas.

I'm not gonna say you don't have any reason to worry about getting your preorder soon, but i wouldn't be overly concerned about it. MM_JOE who works for the company has said on these forums that in the event of a shortage of ships, preorder should still be filled. They only accepted preorders up to the number of ships that they were assured that they would recieve. So unless FFG and their distributors flat lied to them, if you placed a preorder, you will get it soon. If you type MM_JOE into the search funtion at the top of the forums you can find the exact comments I'm refering to. MM is a good company and i wouldn't doubt that they will do what they have promised

Please allow me to put fears to rest, we made sure that we did not oversell on any of the Wave 3 releases, by not releasing all of the quantities that we had pre-ordered. That said we did get allocated on the HWK and will still be able to fulfill all of our pre-orders as well as have some extra for sale (not that much on the HWK though).

Our warehouse staff is busting their humps to get all of the X-Wing out (along with all of the other orders that we have) and we still have not received all of our pre-order amounts from suppliers (we order from multiple sources to ensure that we can maintain good stock and not all of that inventory arrives on the same day).

Hold fast friends, the ships on the way (first to us and then to you)!

I ordered my wave 3 on 6/21 but had some other (already released) stuff included. I have yet to receive my shipping notice either. Patience is the word of the day.

I'm sorry to everybody if I've offended anyone. I just have VERY little trust in anyone with my money, and for some reason I committed $120 to MM a month before the items I ordered were released because I got scared that I wouldn't even get the items if I didn't pre-order.

One item is out of stock. That would be the HWK, which I stated in my previous message that my order that I haven't gotten yet contained. And that I went ahead and purchased one from another source to ensure that I would have one for my weekly game next week. Don't really see a problem there.

The "very little trust" issue also applies to MM's distributors. I have ZERO doubt that MM is doing everything in their power to get these orders filled. But, when third parties are involved, it's not always simple. If someone at FFG, or someone in the chain between FFG and MM, screws up their counts......MM gets less than they expected. Based on FFG's previous stocking issues, it is very possible that they made enough W3 to cover this shipment and then directly bounced back to W1 (there is a REAL shortage there) or started with the Tantive/Transport batch.

In closing.....I'm not mad at anybody in particular, just frustrated. I KNOW that MM is working their butts off - I run my own business too and work MY butt off on a daily basis, so I understand It would just be nice, after having to wait 2-3 months for A-Wing and Interceptor prices to return to normal, and waiting 1-2 months before that to get X-Wing and Y-Wing prices to return to normal, to not have to wait for once. That's all.

Either way, I'm playing my 1s and 2s this week and have every intention of destroying all of the people who are playing 3 squads with them Next week, I'll try out the 3s.

I have never had a problem with getting what I pre - order from either CSI or MM ,,.

nope! Just 1 Shuttle, 3 of each of the others. I have no problem waiting my turn in line, but I think companies should ship orders in the order they were made. Doesn't make sense that someone can order three weeks later and end up getting their stuff sooner.

I'm right there with you. I had originally preordered the Game Tile Kits, but I realized in August that they weren't going to be released at the same time as Wave 3, so I changed my order. Now I'm not sure what's going on with it because one part says that it's not shipping - I need to pick it up in Missouri. I've contacted them to sort it out. I'm sure it won't be a problem. They're usually good about this sort of thing (so I hear) and I can wait the extra week or two if things take a while to get sorted out.

I to have on one of my two orders "Processing Multiple Preorders" and that has been the status for 24 hours now..
The other order has just "Complete" as order status..

But no confirmation mail yet..

Heh. I told you to relax. I too have had the "Processing multiple orders" for about 48 hours. Now I got the confirmed shipping mail! And I ordered 6th of September. So no reason to fear anyone

Did my pre-order end July.

Even with postage to here in the uk, saved £20.

Got my shipping e-mail yesterday.

To be fair, I did my first pre-order 9 September And the second the 10th September.

I'm right there with you. I had originally preordered the Game Tile Kits, but I realized in August that they weren't going to be released at the same time as Wave 3, so I changed my order.

I hope the delay is because of a re-thinking of the tiles. i would probably purchase them either way but it would be so much nicer if:

A) The surface helped hold the ships in place.

B) The tiles had a method

C) The images (not just the asteroids) had a bearing on play.

D) It comes with a mission pack that relates to the pictures.

E) They are complete redone and have the trench run on one side. (hey, we can hope).

Still nothin, ordered Aug 16th. Wish MM would ship out orders in order. I guess I understand for my order, like 40 ships in 5 orders.
