Yeah i haven't seen the HWk on screen unless you count computer screens. The most memorable sighting is entering the Star Destroyer and then having Kyle kill everyone on board with his lightsaber.

What if ships like the Crow and others end up in Ep7 and beyond? Lucas seemed to be of the opinion that he didn't want to get much EU mixed in with this movies. But there's every chance that Disney would jump at the chance of taking well known characters like Kyle and Dash and put them in. Just for the sake of being able to sell the toys and such.

You just sent me into a nerd rage. I knew about this already but I try to bury the memory deep into the parts of my mind I never go to. Even the phrase Han shot first is wrong. It should be "Only Han shot." Doesn't have the ring to it like Han shot first but it's accurate.

Nerd rage aside, I would love to see EU ships make it into Ep 7.

That's 1/400th scale, which is about the same scale as the Rebel Transport. Now I just gotta figure out how to put it on a couple large bases.

I think the Z-95 Headhunter is the most likely to show up from what is missing (cheaper/weaker X-Wing used for training or by "pirates"). I also think that the Wayfarer-Class Freighter is a strong possibility as it's the only starting ship from FFG's roleplaying game not already a miniature.

Where does x-wing go after wave 3?

In my storage case of course!

I still vote for a new game, similar to X-Wing but uniquely tweaked for capital ships. Something similar to battle fleet gothic but perhaps with a similar template movement system. Ships could have sections of hull for individual weapons, represented by cards, which can be purchased with points and destroyed when damage is taken. Ships would change course and speed incrementally over several turns. Fighter wings could be tiny miniatures or tokens. You get the idea.

I won't buy anything from the prequels. I might avoid buying EU stuff too. I like that so far every ship was in the movies (besides the Hawk which raped its way into the movie... But at least dark forces was cool).

I, too, found nothing with a simple search query in Google. So I put in my copy of A New Hope and scoured the Mos Eisley scenes. This is the closest thing I could come up with:

It doesn't look look exactly like the HWK-290 because the wings seem to be attached too high on the main body, but it's the closest ship I could find in the movie. What do you think? Anybody know what this ship really is if it's not the HWK-290?
