What happens to a player who has no units and no bases or instalations on the board but still have orders on the board? Is he eliminated right away and all of his orders are removed or does he play those orders (by taking cards probably) and then is removed from the game? I am asking because of the AldarisĀ“s SV and because removing orders during the game can really ruin another players strategy.
Player elimination
I suppose, even though he is eliminated, he reveals his orders when it would be his turn and do nothing.
If my memory is right, as soon as an order from an eliminated player appears on the top of a stack, it is discarded immediately.
Railarian is correct.
You can find the rest of the info on Page 18 of the base rules in the 'Player Elimination' Section.
Good question. I've never yet experienced anyone being completely wiped out yet.
I have witnessed one... the hard way...
I was eliminated and my orders which should have blocked my opponents into drawing events for the 'The end draws near' (I was using Aldaris) instead is removed, giving the Terran player the win.
Never saw any one eliminated from the game. But that's because we normally see after that, so nobody has to simply sit there and watch.
Well in our games it is not so rare to get eliminated... when someone is way ahead in CP everyone simply goes after him and if he is still too greedy about gathering CP which he usually is he simply gets eliminated because there is no chance to fight against more players at the same time no matter how strong your position is
It's not hard to eleminate one player, but try to win the whole game in this way... Especially if you play with >1 oppotent. And when you have Normal/Special Victory enabled, with "The End Draws Near" cards in Event deck...
Even if one oppotent is eliminated, the others are not so easy targets, no matter which faction you chose.
