So I have decided to run a squad at my FLGS and hopefully there will be about 10 people this time around. Here's my build I am taking. Whaddaya think.
Han Solo - Engine Upgrade, Millenium Falcon, Push the Limits
Gold Squadron Pilot - Ion Cannon Turret, R2 Astromech
Rookie Pilot - R2 Astromech
Now my goal of this squad is Han Solo hanging back at range 3 for a couple rounds while the Y-Wing gets an Ion token out and the X-Wing softens up the others or goes for the bump. Now Han Solo will will use his I move last and Only Han Shot abilities to wreck the opposition from there. I will be taking an evade with Han as often as he gets shot at because negating even one damage on that ship is important. Now my goal is to disrupt formations and from good angles try to make sure he never gets shot by more than one ship at a time to maximize my use of the MF card. So the two rebel ships will do their best to move into spots where if they do want to shoot at the MF they will get walloped. The Y-Wing will do his best also to keep Ion tokens on ships that have a good chance of shooting the MF next turn. Now getting all this to work will be some good magic so I hope it works.
So the main point is to have the Millenium Falcon be my end game strategy and be the last ship on the board.
