Miscut Cards

So I opened my copy of Creation and Control and found that a number of cards in one of the packs were miscut lol.

Oh dear!

Sell them on ebay for big $$$. Those cards are rarer than the PSF or crypsis promos!

Sure they're rare but I highly doubt they'd be tournament legal as they have vital information such as costs or agenda points cut off, surely that would drive the value down.

I'm certain the retailer would be willing to replace box but if I can get some cash for the cards then perhaps I'd be more inclined to go that route.

You could use this link to contact FFG about the defective cards: http://parts.fantasyflightgames.com/

I hear FFG is pretty good about replacing missing or damaged components.

Misprints actually have a lot of value to collectors. Miscuts are rarer, however, and would probably hold more value (you'll find someone interested in them somewhere).

I'd check around on the forums and the like.

I'm missing a Gila Hands Arcology (The Neutral Agenda).

Please e-mail me if you do end up selling off parts of your expansion!

Interesting. Might it be possible for you to arrange the whole set to show off how they were intended to be cut?

I don't get it. What's wrong with them? :P

Look again. Cards have been cut almost in the middle instead of the black border as usual.

They sure don't leave much of a gap between them do they? Pretty impressive to cut them that close like that on a mass scale and usually (above duly noted) get them spot on. Hope all went well for you on getting this resolved.

Take a closer look at your cards; the border you can see on those miscuts will be wider than where the cards are actually cut. Any professional full-bleed art will have a bleed of usually 3-5mm, which is (normally) more than enough to avoid any obvious mishaps when cutting.

Ah, I see it now...very easy to miss unless you zoom all the way in...
