Han Solo versus Dark Curse

Well for whatever fluff reason it may be, gamewise it makes no sense to me. Can't change it but i just find it ridiculous because with any other strengths and weaknesses some lists have against others, there is always a fair chance. But not here. I would not mind someone calculating the statistical number of turns and shots that 4 HWK would need to kill Dark Curse. Must be a joke really.

Well offset Kyle. He is great but for his full combo you pay a good amount of points. Also a lot of oeople seem to agree on this forum that with the shuttle and the bomber imperials really got the better end of this expansion. But i amnot convinced that the B-wing is bad yet... We will see.

Honestly the Blaster turret strikes me as more of an attempt to give the turret ships a slightly cheaper option than the ion, and as such is meant to be overall less awesome. So there being one, unique, ship out of the 58 pilot options released so far that counters a list that chooses to spam it is hardly a terrible thing. Really given how boring Spam lists are to play against or fly I think that it's something of a good thing.

It really is not that hard to hit a TIE fighter with a 2 die attack, I have hit plenty of TIEs using other TIEs at range 2 or 3. If you took every opportunity you had to make Range 1 shots against DK, even the 4 HWK with Blasters list should be able to take him down. Dark Curse is certainly at a major advantage here, but it isn't really a case of total immunity.

Plus if you bring at least 1 Ion among your 4 HWKs, you have the option of trying to zap DC and then swarm in on him hoping to finish him off with concentrated fire at range 1.

Or even better, do what I did to my buddy recently. Just Ion him three consecutive turns. Problem solved. :D
