So I was thinking about what the people mentioned in my last thread about a sniper killing the talker character from extreme range and I thought to myself why not make the Sniper.
So assuming a highly illegal and minorly modded disruptor riffle
An Assassin/Gadgeteer/Maurader can have a base +110 to critical checks with
6 lethal blows and vicious 5 from the weapon
In addition a jury rigged disruptor can trigger a critical on 1 advantage and add +10 to the
critical roll for each advantage spent after the first.
Making it superior gives +1 damage/advantage and using a forearm grip gives it a boost die with accuracy 1
With deadly accuracy and max ranged heavy skill of 5 the base damage is 16 before any point blanks.
With Sniper shot you can increase the Disruptor Riffle to extreme range.
So while autofire weapons can do a significant amount of damage, With the disruptor riffle you have an amazingly high chance of 1 shot killing just about anything using this build Including the dreaded Rancor.
The specilization xp is 60
The Talent XP to do this is 85 in Maurader, 15 in gadgeteer, (80)/150 in bounty hunter (150 for sniper shot and deadly accuracy)
But the 85 in Maurader talents for +30 critical is very minimal to the build and losing that reduces the
xp cost by 85 +40 for the specilization xp.
With 115xp you can still get +80 crit long range and a base damage of 11, where you will still be 1 shotting more often then not.
(Note these are not taking into account skill points or characteristics)
As far as power being able to 1 shot people from a distance is extremely powerful.
