So, FFG... what's the reason for changing the name of this module? I thought it was a neat callback to Shadows of the Empire, which revolved around Black Sun?

I ran it once via Skype for a gaming group and it took a little under three hours.

You can easily trim out a huge portion of the middle portion of the adventure to run this in under two hours if you want, particularly the third location that the PCs have an option to visit, since it really doesn't add all that much and most of the information gleaned can be gained from sources at the first two locations.

Depending on your party mix, the boss fight can drag on a bit. I'd suggest simply running the main opponent as written (I gave him a rank of Adversary as the PCs had been having a bit too easy of a time with most of the fights), as he's got a pretty beefy Wound Threshold

I ran this as a part of my current Bounty Hunter campaign, it went well but I almost always find that my group don't react in the same way as the designers anticipate. Never a dull moment lol.

Now that this and Beyond the Rim is out I need to decide what my group will do after we finish Long Arm of the Hutt. Jump right into Beyond the Rim or do Under a Black Sun first? I guess I will actually have to take a look at them before I decide.

You could probably run this, with the crime group that the PCs are "employed" by in UaBS pointing the group into the direction of the main plot NPC in BtR as a means of settling some of their Obligation.
