Huzzah!

Strange... title of the thread says Shadows of a Black Sun, but the cover image shows Under a Black Sun

Hi-res link leads to the low-res version.

Awesome! Thanks!

EDIT: Kallabecca - Yeah, it's weird. It appears to be the same adventure as "Shadows of a Black Sun" it's just renamed...for some reason.

Well I've just done a quick page by page comparison of the two products (pdf and physical copy of the Free RPG day adventure) and it looks like the only change was a find and replace on the phrase Shadows of a Black Sun with Under a Black Sun. Everything else looks unchanged. Of course this was 5 min comparison so I may have missed small text changes.

muahahahaha!!

There isn't a link to the HiRes version, but I simply replaced the "LoRes" txt in their link with "HiRes" and KAPOW 113mb of goodness! woot woot.

Yes, just downloaded it.

Didn't catch the name change when I posted the link.

Odd, but I kinda like the new title. Also, they've apparently tweaked a couple things, like having Brawl/Melee attacks reflect the proper Difficulty (2 purple) instead of the misprinted 1 purple in the hard-copy version.

Having some trouble viewing it, took almost 10 minutes to download the Hi-res version which is unusual. I was prompted multiple times to download it again during the download process and when it did finish, Adobe Reader just displayed an error message saying the file is damaged. Anyone else having this issue?

If you read these boards, THANK YOU FFG! WOOT

FFG, this only makes me want all of the Star Wars EOTE books in PDF/digital format. I'm willing to pay double for the digital formats (partner with Del Rey, kindle edition stuff). PLEASE!

Awesome!

how long would you say this adventure would take? I wanna run it as a one shot. Thanks!

As awesome as that would be, unfortunately, that isn't FFG's decision. The Lucas licensing agreement limits what can be released in digital form.

Thanks for the tip on the hi-res version, guys. Staples, here I come! :)

Sadly true, and expressed directly in this year's In-Flight Report at GenCon.

Free PDF material = all well and good.

Selling PDF material = nothing doing.

Free PDFs of the AoR and FaD rules it is then!

Excellent!

Nope, because they wouldn't be allowed to due to the actual books being paid-for products, not free ones. This adventure was a free release even in physical form, so that makes the PDF alright.

I understand the impossibility of making pdfs, but man, I love the links included in the pdf. Really well done.

FFG make kickstarter to be able to afford the licensing to sell digital versions of the books.
