Going to play the Armed to the Teeth encounter from LotW and I was wondering if anyone had any strategy tips for these two encounters. I am trying to take the heroes there early in Act 2 so I can secure the OL card if I win. Any help would be appreciated.

I will most likely be playing this in two weeks as well, but I will be doing it late in act II. I felt it was better to delay the rumor just in case the heroes do win, then they only have one shop phase as their reward. The final will make this card useful enough if I win.
They got me in the first encounter and one that sweet armor. I am not about to lose the second LotW encounter. Plus if I can get that and I am about to get reinforce, I think I will be unstoppable. Muhahahaha!!!! (Insert dumb evil laugh noise).
I'm sorry... I will be doing "At the Forge" ~.~ Which looks heavy geared for the heroes.
Well good luck on that one. I think armed to the teeth will favor me some but the first encounter seems rather iffy. I don't trust a fat goblin to hoof it quickly across such a large map.

haha! I was really hoping for that rumor seeing we are playing Serena's side of LoR. All Splig all of the time >D! It would have been so fitting.

I did it Kunzite. With the help of a couple of performance enhancing cards (Dash), I was able to get that fat goblin across in no time. I got lucky for sure and hit a few checks but I did it. Those heroes don't stand a chance in the next encounter.
That's awesome!! Congrats! Dash is champ when one needs to hoof it.
Our next quest will be "At the Forge" and we will see how I fair. I have some pretty nasty cards up to this point (this is the last quest before the final. I have reinforce, bloodlust and dark ritual for starters) and I won our last encounter, so I have a shiny new card. One in which they will not enjoy at the least. Here's for getting cranky dragons across a field!
