I thought the "Follow this topic" option would build a list of tracked topics for me, but if it does, I can't find it.

Is this a new function of the boards? Not noticed it before, but looks useful.

Listing subscriptions, as on BoardgameGeek, is probably what you want. I can't see how to do that here. Maybe it will be added later?

You should get notifications, which will help you keep up to date with threads you follow, but probably only when there are new posts.

You can click on "view new content" (top right) and on the page it takes you to select items you follow (right hand side near bottom). But this will only show you new posts, not items followed where there are no new posts.
