SPACE TROOPERS?????????

By KILODEN, in X-Wing

ok, this lightbulb just went off in my head while typing in another thread.

first i was thinking of ships from the rebelion era that have not yet been considered, when the assault transport came to mind. it carried space troopers.

this is a good opertunity for the emire to get a 360 fire unit, but has a slow speed(1 i am thinking) but able to move in any direction (maybe) with mini-PT and a laser cannon.

they would be like slow floating turrets. i myself love this idea.

and better yet, an assault ship that can drop them, so the ship can fly out onto the table droping these small mobile turrets where ever you want them.

even cooler wood be an option to use the magnetit boots to clamp on to ships.

could you imagine clamping onto a rebel yt and then scoring auto hits until another ship tried to blast the trooper off (with a chance for hitting the yt of course) or having to spend an action to shake him loose.

man im excited for myself, i love my mind!!!!!!!!

darn it i spelled some stuff wrong in last post, was to excited and typing to fast, pleaz no grammar jokes, thank you

Someone put in a custom card for the Zero G Stormtrooper recently. There was some debate on points cost and abilities. Personally, I called it X-Wing Boss Fight. But that's me.....

Yeah, I'm the dude who came up with the Zero-G Stormtroopers and I'm stil hot to do it... IF we can figure out the most balanced way to do it. The first iteration of the card had the Spacetroopers so cheap you coulda fielded 25 of them, LOL :-D

im curious to what you had for the stat line.

i was thinking:

attack = 1

defense = 2

hull = 1

shields = 0

target lock, focus, evade

and a special PT upgrade card giving you unlimited mini-proton torpedoes attack = 3(or 2) / range = 1-3

and as stated before the movement dial would be a 1 in any direction.

points im thinking would be 6 + 3 for mini-PT
