My friend has been declaring attackers with joust and then inserting his naval characters into the challenge, is this legal? If so, it seems really unfair...
Can you naval in characters during a joust challenge?
Yep, totally legal to do. But once he puts the naval attacker in it turns joust off so you can navel your own guys in. Also any effect that dosent declare a defender can get around joust, cat stark LOW and the greatjon (both versions i believe) would allow for this i think.
But once he declares naval attackers, can I declare non-naval defenders?
It will depend upon WHEN he declares his Naval attackers. If he does it AFTER the declare defenders framework... then no, you can't. UNLESS you also have Naval guys you can naval into the challenge as a defender.
It's a low-down dirty trick... but it's a strategic play.
Yeah, I doubt he'll ever be stupid enough to do it before defenders are declared. Thanks for the confirmation, as much as it pains me, lol
