Hi everybody! I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan and I got in to X-wing Miniatures last month at Celebration Europe, sufficed to say now I'm hooked!
I was browsing Amazon UK last week and happened upon these links for Wave 3 releases of ships (the Tie Bomber, B-wing, etc)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1616616776/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So, I jumped for joy noticing the release date for them was the 29th of August 2013, and immediately put in a pre-order for both of them (I'm trying to get one of each of all craft so me and my brother can have some interesting 1-on-1 fights, no massive squads or anything, don't earn enough money for that!)
Roll on a week and the 29th sailed past yesterday without incident. This morning however Amazon updated their stock to reveal the availability of the ships would be 'Within 1 to 3 months'... My account doesn't seem to have been charged for anything yet but Amazon still says they will be dispatched within a few days time.
Searching the web I can see that there have been big delays due to the demand and popularity of the game during each wave's release and similarly with wave 3 being delayed a few weeks/months at least in the USA. (Considering the US would have them first, I find it highly unlikely that pokey Amazon UK managed to get a batch before anybody else)
So, I'm really confused as to what is happening right now with these orders. Has wave 3 been released anywhere apart from conventions? Is Amazon right and has anybody else pre-ordered/got theirs from there? Or is Amazon wrong as usual and just displayed the wrong date. (In which case I might just cancel and wait a while and carry on playing with our wave 1's)
Thanks!
