Hey everyone my group has a question about what it means to take a non career special.
Like a tech career and special being a slicer then taking the assassin special from the bounty hunter career as a non career speical with the added xp cost.

We just want to besure that someone could do something like that because I'm not completely sure I read that right in the book. We kept is simple for now as keeping to 1 special for the start but take a second as the game progresses. We plan to do an act or 2 monday.

Yes, you can buy specialisations outside of your original career's specialisations. It's just that they cost 10xp more than in-career specialisations, meaning, when you purchase your 2nd specialisation, it'd be 20xp if it was from your career, and 30xp if it wasn't.

The only difference between taking a career specialization and a non-career specialization is that the non-career spec costs you an additional 10xp to purchase.
