I'm not sure Expose on A-Wings is an improvement over PtL - Target lock + focus yields more hits than Expose unless you already have a target lock on the target ship before you use expose.
Not impressed with B-Wing so far, pleased w/ Tie Bomber
The trade-off is that you won't have the Stress token so you can perform a Koiogran and maybe get a better shot the next turn. Stress on an A means you're going straight or 2-anything; having access to both the 3-K and 5-K.
I've found that most A pilots will Boost as one of their PTL actions to get in or out of an arc, rarely using the focus+Target Lock. I think Expose is interesting, worth trying at least. Worth it to see 4 dice from the main gun of an A-Wing at least once ![]()
yesterday I used expose on wedge with advanced torps and jan ors buff ability...7 dice= 7 hits...it was pretty hard to stop laughing :-) my opponent wasn't pleased :-) fortunately for him it was the ORS.

Expose only modifies primary weapon attacks, so no stacking it onto an advanced torp.
Doh! Good catch...ok, so it should have been 6 hits :-)
Shows you how much I've used that card!
Edited by jetsetterIf only Expose weren't so expensive... just looked it up. Comes with the Firespray? Pricey in-game and on the wallet.

?? "fortunately for him is was the ORS." am I missing the joke?

ORS = Outer Rim Smuggler. He was just saying at least it was a cheap pilot, not Han/etc
My current thoughts on B-Wings is that you probably want high pilot skill to kill enemy ships before they get to shoot at you, and you want to take down enemy ships as early as possible. I'm thinking my next try might be something like this:
Wedge, Swarm Tactics, Stealth Device
Dagger Squadron, Fire Control Systems, Ion Cannon, Advanced Proton Torp
Blue Squadron, Fire Control Systems, Heavy Laser Cannon
PS 9 HLC won't take down enemy ships on its own, but adding wedge's shot might finish off whatever you're shooting at. The dagger squadron can setup something on its own with a long range Ion Cannon shot, followed by an easy TL + Focus APT to the face.
Everyone needs to remember that a pilot with a higher pilot skill gets to shoot twice before you can shoot twice. This is huge. But, if the B-Wing isn't going to be a pivitol part of your list, and is used as a support craft instead, then it isn't that big of a deal.

I must be misunderstanding this. What do you mean?
I think he means that it generally takes two attacks to destroy a ship, and a high skill level pilot will do unto you before you can do unto him.
