So I am really starting to see a lot of new player posts, and I was just wondering if it was due to the annoucement that tekken will be added to UFS. So if your a new player go ahead and post your story of what got you into or is getting you into UFS. Oh and welcome to the arena.

I think it has more to do with the anniversary events

Time will tell how many players from my starter explosion event stick around... of the 16, 2 of them kinda already played, 3 more had bought cards already and were going to start playing regardless. I have hopes that maybe four of the others might come by once in a while. They seemed to enjoy themselves alright. Just wished I had more prizes than 16 promos and a mat... What do I give out on the second half of this anniversary event, when its constructed? (answer: my own stuff. lol)

I had a chesters, that crappy foundation that changes how things cycle, a tira's contract, and a demuth's. And then characters. Oh and there was a Cammy! Our group has never seen that before. I resisted the urge to swap it out for another promo from my own collection.

Alright thanks I guess I will tell esther and see if I can get a few other promos for getting nothing but characters.

dude. you can't complain about free stuff that is meant for new people that have never seen it before. also, there were 2 packs of promos, supposed to be 1 per event. so 8 per. if the packs weren't enough, i added to them from leftover prizes to make sure everyone walks away with at least 1 card.

Yeah and when I had 16 people, i had to add to them to make sure people walked away with stuff in a sort of stratefied way from first to last. With stratefied not being first gets playmatt plus promo down and everyone else just gets one... not how I roll. Not complaining, well.. ok maybe I am. lol. Really I guess packs should be sufficient right? It was a FREE event! lol.

I'll find something to give out this weekend. Just have to dig a bit. In my soul. Some soul digging.

I would say, That UFS is awesome it is not because of tekken. I would go with SC anyday but SF is awesome too. So my story is I want a new card game to play and UFS is the system I am looking for. All the other CCG jsut didnt offer a good system (IN MY OPINION).

That's a decent opinion. It would be awesome if you could formulate that a bit more, with some specifics, and maybe even post it in its own thread? I think we'd all like to read that and comment about why UFS is, in our opinion, the better game system than other games out right now.
