quick question, when luke is stressed would he be able to use his ability to switch his focus rolls to an evade?
stressed luke
Quick answer, yes.
thanks for the reply, though just to be sure, so what constitute as actions are the current 5 actions (focus, roll, TL, evade, boost) + upgrades with the action wording?
That is correct.
Remember that some abilities ONLY work when stressed (ie Ibtisam), and that some triggers from getting a stress token (eg Soontir Fel).
Having a stress token does not prevent you from using your pilot ability OR any tokens presently associated with your ship. For example you can target lock an opponent and choose to use it later, nothing prevents you from using it in the same turn as you made a koiogran turn.
For completeness, you might want to add damage cards with the Action keyword.
Basically, anything that appears on the action bar or says "Action" on it. One important detail here is that there is a difference in some cases between something like "acquire a target lock" and the "acquire a target lock action". Taking the action lets you acquire a lock, but it is possible to acquire a lock without taking the action (such as via Dutch Vander).
Basically, just look for "action" somewhere in what you're doing.
^^^ True that.
They're pretty good about putting the keyword "Action:" in front of anything requiring it. Anything that doesn't have that isn't an action, and isn't affected by anything (like crashing) that would cause you to lose your action that turn.
