Ship repairs

By GnuHouse, in X-Wing

I'm new to miniatures so I've never encountered this before. I was disassembling my ships this morning and I accidentally pulled the female connector off the bottom of my X Wing. I'm thinking that I need to grab myself some contact cement and use that to reattach the little connector, but I'm wondering if this is the best solution. Any other suggestions?

Contact cement might not be sturdy enough. I'd suggest super glue or possibly 5-minute epoxy. That's going to be a fairly high-stress joint, and contact cement stays a little rubbery.

I've had this happen a few times and superglue was fine.

My piece broke off my Firespray 31 after I accidentally knocked it off a 4 foot tall counter. I was able to glue it back no problem.

Had this happen to an A-Wing the day I bought it and opened it up. Super glue worked great.

Tried super glue and it worked perfectly. Thanks everyone!
