I believe some others have threads with more pics and maybe a video up also. I don't have the links but you could do a search. Here are a few more pics from my conversion:
This one show the old cockpit area once the housing is removed. I cut this out with an xacto knife. The resin is a bit think but will cut easily with pressure.
I cut plastic card and shaped it to fill the gap left from the cockpit removal. Keep as much of the materials as possible to finish out your conversion.
