Ten Numb List Idea

By Bearcat, in X-Wing

Hey guys I'm still a pretty new player and was hoping for some list advice. I really love the new B-Wing and want to focus around him for now. Let me know what you guys think and how I can improve my list.

blank.gif?v39Ten Numb + Fire-Control System + Proton Torpedoes + Advanced Proton Torpedoes + Deadeye (44)
blank.gif?v39Garven Dreis (26)
blank.gif?v39Biggs Darklighter + R2-D2 (29)

Total: 99pts

My basic goal is to have Biggs keep Garven and Ten alive long enough to wreak havoc. Garven can pass focus tokens to Ten who can also gain target locks through the fire control system. Nothing crazy fancy besides trying to throw torpedoes out all over the place.

The only problem I see is that Ten would shoot before Garven. So that focus would be either purely defensive, or go to Biggs. I would look into the HWK. Kyle Katarn could replace Garven since he passes the focus out at the start of combat, or Biggs for Garret since he can make Garven a 12.

I agree. I posted this list the other day which is similar but I think a bit better.

D'oh of course Ten shoots first. Now to grab an HWK when they go on sale. Thanks for the advice guys!

Or you can put swarm tactics on Ten.

What about Ten Numb (31) with Auto Blaster(5) Fire Contol System (2) and Marksmanship (3) with Biggs (25) and R2-F2 (3) and Wedge (29) with R2 Astromech and the 1 Point Elite Pilot Skill of your choice?

Sounds intriguing....

Surely you would be better with a HLC than two proton torps?

Easier to shoot every round and doesn't require you to have or spend a target lock?

But then Ten's extrmely nice pilot ability would go to waste. Giving someone who's crit's can't be negated high crit weapons seems extremely solid to me.

Exactly. That's also why I went with standard torps rather than APTs on him. Besides, getting the target locks shouldn't be a problem most of the time, for obvious reasons.

Instead of VI and 8 points into torps, take Marksmenship and a HLC. Ditch the recon specialist on the HWK, ditch the blaster turret, give an ion turret instead, and that leaves you with 99 points without touching biggs.

Ten Numb (43p)

-autoblaster

-PT

-Marksmanship

"Dutch" Vander (28p)

-IC turret

Wedge Antilles (29p)

PT for long range attack, autoblaster for short range. Vander's ability allows Ten to have a target lock and active marksmanship. Combing Ten's ability with autoblaster's ability may cause defending pilot to be unable to block any hit. Wedge is just an adition.

Now this is pretty much exactly what i was gonna play. The autoblaster/TenNumb combo puts anything in range 1 into extreme trouble. Plus you still have Wedge and Biggs for protection.
