Since the first movie came out, I have always been a Y-wing fan. Loved them in the various old simulator games too! Since picking up this game, the Y-wing has remained my favorite ship. It's got gobs of health, loads of upgrade options, and good unique pilot abilities. I've used at least one in almost every rebel list I've ever tried. I won our last regionals tournament using a 4 Y-wing list. Just because it's possible, I committed to taking 5 Y-wings to the next tournament. I'll be running:

I'm 2-0 in practice games so far. Getting some more practice in tomorrow. We'll see how the tournament goes next week!
