I'd vote for the TIE/d Automated Drone (at 8 points cost, see another post for what I would consider it to be), but given the success of the Moldy Crow, I'd also vote for Rogue Shadow from the Force Unleashed games, with Juno Eclipse, Kata and Galen as pilots.

All ships that are still affiliated with the "classic trilogy" without being too EU. Of course no one saw the hwk 290 coming. But so far FFG has only touched on certain sources for star wars across all their games/art etc. There is not a hint of anything related to clone wars/ episode 1 trilogy (thank god in my personal opinion). They have a fair amount of dark forces/ kyle katarn stuff, vague hints at the Xwing books (which obviously fits perfectly in this game), SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE (which is why Virago/Outrider seem like frontrunners to me), and.....KoToR. Now Kotor is nowhere near the same timeframe of course, and the things they've used from it are the remnants of it in "present day", but its a possiblity. They have also not shown anything to lead me to believe they take Force Unleashed seriously. I really dont want some crew upgrade that crashes any ship on the board into a planet k thx.

the concept of an unique ship might not be a bad idea in terms of the game mechanics.

Up to now, there are only unique pilots and "you seldom need or want to pay for more than one" ships.

If you have a ship type which would be truly unique you could use a bit more freedom in designing it's stats and abilities without the risk of overthrowing the balance, when accounting for multiple instances.

Ok, it's not that far from the unique title extension for ships and you won't find many ships which are truly unique as most are instances of production series (even if heavily modified), but the idea in general might work. :)

There is not a hint of anything related to clone wars/ episode 1 trilogy (thank god in my personal opinion).

The seismic charges are from EP2, and you could possibly argue the homing missiles are as well.

I honestly feel the Empire needs more of a boost than the Rebels in this wave, so i'd like to see one or two of these:

IG-2000 (IG-88, other cool pilots here) large ship set

Hounds Tooth (Bossk, other awesome bounty hunters here) large ship set

TIE Defender

TIE Phantom (Yo dawg, we heard you like torpedoes)

TIE Scout (not sure how the gameplay would work, but let your imagination frolic like a Gungan on a firing line)

Tartan Patrol Cruiser (to counter the Corellian Corvette? :D )

That said, it would also be nice to see a Z-95 headhunter or something!

The Tartan is quite a bit larger. Customs Corvette would work better, and wouldn't be Wave 4... Action VI would be my Imperial transport choice (it's iconic and most of them were snapped up by the Imperium).

I do hope that for now at least, they stick to Rebellion Era ships. Which means no E-wing sadly, but keeps the general continuity.

But i can see them moving the timeline along a bit once they've exhausted the rebellion era options.

I'd much rather see prequel ships than EU ships. I've seen enough Imp ships that look like some fan just cut+pasted a bunch of Tie Fighters together.

Well how convenient for your criticism that you removed part of the my quote that makes it obvious that there is perfect connection between their post comments and my post comment. Anyone who liked their comments would understand, and the view counts on these threads are constantly changing, so the start date and last post don't matter one bit.
