Yeah. FFG had a limited release of Wave three at Gen-con. While Regular retail sale is not for another three to six weeks.
I really wish I had sent money with a Guy I know that went to Gen-con... : /

At their "In Flight Review" FFG stated that the wave 3 ships would be release in 3 to 5 weeks. Though if you live in somewhere other than North America that would add a couple weeks. So September is more or less what we've been indirectly told and expecting delays to October in some places would be reasonable.

Its not all sunshine and rainbows all the time over here lol. Military, so always busy. Also kinda hard to find people to play tournaments with. A store has one weekly but ...one weekend I showed up to two events and I was the only one there...everyone else was playing magic, blah to much for me to get into.

Hey dude, Tournaments are on Sundays now 2:30 pm so as not to conflict with Magic. I was so bummed when you showed up on Saturday and all the x-wing players were busy with Magic, so I moved it to Sunday and made it in the afternoon. We had 3 players yesterday, one man short for a tourney, but we all got a game in. Hope you can make it next week. I'm gonna be at the store now every Sunday from 2 pm to 6 to play x-wing, I'll be happy to play you. Hope you see this.

Also, I know 'WGConsortium' (youtube channel) will be posting a wave 3 report soon. We recorded a novice game and wave 3 game yesterday, but he needs to do a bunch of overlays and stuff before posting it.
