This might push me and others out of the game. The game is heading down a very dangerous path and i do not like that at all.

The only reason you'd be forced to buy the Transport, is if you felt you had to have the cards that come with it, in an FFG tourny, that doesn't allow proxie cards.

For any other game, you can just print the cards out or use some other form of proxie. So other then the hard-core tourny type, on one is being forced to buy anything.

It's also not like you can't repaint an existing X-Wing to match the one coming with the Transport.

Or any tournament that follows the tournament rules laid out by FFG.

So if i want to use these cards i either have to play at the kitchen table or shell out 60$ and buy something that is mostly worthless to me.

If they give me access to good quality components just for the cards and other cardstock tokens i would be totally fine. The painted mini would be nice to have but the other stuff is the most important part to me. An X-Wing is an X-Wing no matter what paintjob he got.

The big minis look awesome but since they are not part of the game i play i really do not need them. I got enough Star Wars in my room already including the Lego ISD ^^ Perhaps i get lucky and grab the cards and tokens off eBay Would much rather have non used items tho.
