Favorite/Least Favorite Lieutenant?

By Ringskipper, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

With the Lieutenant Packs announced, we'll be getting our favorite lieutenants in miniature form, plus the new "agent" mechanic.

So... who is your favorite lieutenant from the second edition? Which will you most likely be using as your agent?

From the base game, my favorite is probably Eliza Farrow. I'm a big fan of her seduce ability, plus the flavor of a vampire seducing her victims on the battlefield. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Splig or Belthir.

I really can't wait for Ariad to come out, though. She's definitely my favorite lieutenant thus far.

Personnaly, I really like Belthir, as he is the only one to be a non-human. Sometimes, I would like him to be a hero, now, I'm more than happy. I'm already imagination my monster group : shadow dragon, hybrid sentinels, and Belthir

The farrows are too classical for me, even if i really like Avric in his powerfull armor. But now that they have new arts, I may change my mind.

And the one I dislike the most is for sure Splig. Even if he is fun, he is really weak, slow, unusefull, and ugly. I see him more like a joke than like a way to win.

The ones I'm waiting for after :

Valyndra ! Imaginating her creeping around all my games is so much fun, and her token is big an horrible.

And I'm curious to see what they will do about the allies (maybe a way to have them in other maps ? Or to have the corrupted version of them ? Or maybe better : the heroes have it but each time they loose a quest, it changes camp, and if the overlord looses, the allies return to heroes)

and finaly, if familiars will have their minis, maybe all of them in a single box ?

rahh, waiting is unbearable !!

Belthir and Eliza Farrow. And wouldn't mind using Valyndra, and troll from Trollfens would be fun too.

No one has spoke of Zackerith. I liked him before I played him, but that was more for flavor then anything. I also put myself in his position by drawing myself with something like what he wares... just made for a woman haha ^.^;; So, I am excited to have his token more then anything. And of all the agents to make it, I want him on the map the most. I really wanted to have more from him. SR just wasn't enough.

My second favorite it a tie between Alric and Eliza. I have had Alric "dance" with my heroes before, leaving them with no more fatigue to spend and hurting to boot. Eliza's seduce ability is awesome and a little funny when it comes to my group of all males except me x.x particularly when it's aimed as my soon to be husband.

An tactical rpg in which we write our own script x.x

Early congrats...I like Zac too just not my favorite.

I like splig tbh, he seems like the underdog, and I personally always root for the underdog. Everyone else are powerful warlocks, ancient vampires, big dragons, dragon hybrids, splig is just a fat goblin man, he hasn't got a lot going for him.

Thanks! A crazy mage and an overlord will make for an intresting life together ^.~

I am also intrested to see what Zac's plot deck will detail. His character is such a mystory for me.

I think Splig is for comedy. In LoR, he gets fleshed out a little more. He is a huge coward with little honor. There is an OL's reward card called "Splig's Revenge" that lets you place splig on the map if there are goblins. If he is taken out, then you lose the card, as if he runs because he got a good beating. The imaginary is funny.

Yeah I'd like to swap him with some goblin open groups just for fun.

yes, i know, i used it, but it's more funny that really powerfull. Using him as an agent would be fun, but I fear it will be not powerfull enough, facing zacharect, or Belthir, for exemple.

And Belthir is underused in the main campaign, and totaly absent elsewhere (he could be present in Lair of The wyrm, he SHOULD be)

That's funny, I play with quite a few females and Eliza always manages to seduce them (or my boyfriend, who likes to play as Dezra the Vile). A lot of angry "I DON'T SWING THAT WAY"s going on there.

The Lieutenant Packs are perfect for adding Belthir to the Lair of the Wyrm stories. :) Imagine Belthir leading a herd of hybrid sentinels, with Valyndra right behind him. Scary.

Balthir in LotW sounds epic!! I like this thought!

Yes, I imagine this all the day one. I can't stop, I'm gonna go crazy. Sometimes I think it's more horrible to know than knowing nothing.

How will I wait ?
