I love this game... a little too much it seems. While I only have a small collection compared to most/all of you out there, I do have a larger collection than other players locally. With that in mind, and the fact that I want to play this game every waking hour, and the downside of having a ridiculously small gaming meta (only 5 players with core+some expansions and 2 new players starting up in the next week or two), I fear that my expenditure on this game vs. the games life span locally is askew.

It blows to have enough cards to be able to play any house locally, but not enough to be worthwhile getting organised in online games. I think I've watched pretty much every youtube video of AGoT matches there is, and I still can't get enough. If only I could watch matches being played online (live) like with a Vassal app for other games, maybe my hunger for this game would be controlled... but then, probably not.

In short, I want more access to AGoT.. playing, watching, whatever... D*mn my small-town gaming situation.

Not the end of the world, but if you stand in the main street and look south... you can see it. (At least it feels that way sometimes).

Have you tried OCTGN?

If there's demand for it I can start commentating again I guess. I just find most games to go far longer than they need and got bored commentating them. I personally tend to scoop once I see the game is out of hand. As an example, I had one game last an hour where for the last 20 or 30 minutes I just kept stating how the game was already lost for one player (not intentionally, just I noticed it after listening back to the commentating).

Haha. Could be! I have a bit of an odd style for my videos. I don't have multiple cameras, so I bounce back and forth between hands. I haven't done it in a while, so I'll have to find my gear. I have no idea how to do it over Skype, so if you have any ideas let me know. Let me see if I can find one of the old ones I did to give you an idea...

If you look at my channel it's mostly Netrunner and I've stopped since people have actually been doing this from my Netrunner meta. I think these games are like a year old, haha.

yeah I was thinking of commentating octgn matches. I hadn't ever thought of recording irl matches. Do you have octgn at all?

@Staton - Nah, I don't have OCTGN. I really just play live. OCTGN is bizarre for me. I don't know. It's probably the fact that if I'm at a computer I'd rather play a full blown computer game.

Do you need OCTGN to view OCTGN games or do you have FRAPS or something to screen cap it?

@dcdennis - Yup. We don't host any monthly tournaments (which I think we should), so the only video I get is at Cranberry, yellow tinted and all. I would've recorded our regionals and commentated had there been an interest, but half this community seems to hate my guts (and it's justified) and I didn't even consider it.

You need OCTGN to view OCTGN games normally, but I do stream games to twitch. So you can watch games that way.

I've installed OCTGN and looked into using it... but there's never anyone online for AGoT when I am (timezone problems and all). BTW I'm GMT +10. Also, ontop of that, I can't work out how to build a deck and save it on OCTGN.

I'd be happy enough just to be a silent observer during OCTGN games, if that is at all possible.

Download skype then send me a freinds request darknoj(at)gmail(dot)com i will get you in a chat group to find games. Their are players on 24/7. As for decks; you can build decks at cardgamedb and then export them to octgn.

Got Skype. But only a 'basic' Skype user.... Will send fr req. I think I need to dload card packs, from somewhere, for OCTGN as I only have cards from the basic dload, No actual card pics. The biggest interest for me is watching games atm. I still need to buy quite a few more packs before I have access to a complete card pool, and before me playing becomes a viable or worthwhile act.
