Rogue Shadow - as a neutral faction..

By Bablo, in X-Wing

What about Rogue Shadow as a neutral ship?

It can either fight for the Imperial or the Rebels?

I think this ship should come with both rebel and imperial pilots. I want this ship so badly. It is a cool ship.

its 65 meter in length... MF is only 37 meters. going to be quite a large ship flying around...

Awwwwww............

Don't think its going to happen then.

Size matters not... see the thread about wave 4 ships. :D

Saw that. Wow. I honestly don't know how I feel about it.

Rogue Shadow, here we come :D

Whats the link to that thread?

I kind of like it but it needs some work.

Cloaking Device Upgrade

Missiles

Torpedoes

Ouh yes.. the SHIP itself has a "black dot"

meaning it is Unique and there can be only one per game

Since Rogue Shadow is one of its kind in existence.

Sexy. Juno can go for a ride with me anytime.

the size reported by wookipedia is not correct for this ship, and i got proofs, this is a screenshot form the videogame with an actual comparison side by side with the Lambda Shuttle , clearly the Rogue Shadow lenght is more or less like the Millennium Falcon

I really want this ship official ! anyone know if we can do a petition to FFG?

Wookiepedia should *never* be the first source for ship or vehicle lengths, though they have at least corrected the sizes for the AT-AT and Executor.

The Force Unleashed 2 version looks much better hopfully if a piece is made it will be based on the FU2 version.

I wouldnt use this picture as a refrence because the inside is so big it would not be able to fit in the ship if it were the size shown here. Take in mind their is the training room and the launge, which you can explore in the WII version. Their is also a cargo hold which you never get to see and maybe crew quaters.

If this makes it into the game it should be the fastest ship, it should be a support ship, it should be one of the hardest to destroy and it should have no ability to fight. Only Star Killer and his clones should have abilites to harm other ships.

I think all of that can easily fit into the ship with it being the size that it is. Firstly, things often appear larger on the inside than they are on the outside. Secondly, as you never see the cargo hold, it can be as small as a closet, really, just so long as it stores cargo.

Additionally, and most importantly, allow me to refer back to the scale, which is why I included the image in my quote: Look at the size of the Lambda's cockpit compared to the height of the Shadow's deck. Now, remember in EP6, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, and the droids, some of them standing, all fit in that tiny little cockpit. Extrapolating from there, it's easy to imagine all those compartments and more fitting in the expanse of the Shadow as pictured.

Well if you compare it to the Falcon which is a similar size. The Falcon has 3 cargo bays, a rec room big enough for Luke to practice in, a large Engine room and room to sleep at least 6 comfortably. What you describe could definitely be fit into that hull..

Not to mention all the cut scenes in the first scene where he his hanging out the access ramp.. I can't see it being much bigger and matching those scenes.

I think that the Rogue would be slightly longer than the YT-1300 but narrower. It would be pushing the limit of the current "Large" ships to fit the base.

The main problem I see with the Shadow is the fact it was unique and would therefore be limited in pilots, which would probably rule it out for FFG.

I still love that if you put Rogue Shadow into google images, my mouse comes up about halfway down the page, because someone commented that it looked like the Rogue Shadow.

The training room can fit a fake AT-ST in it though. I just don't see it being to scale because the shape of the rooms would indicate they are in the stren section. You also have to have space for all the other pieces of equipment like the engines, life support, avaonics, so on and so forth.

Then it's a case of looking at which reference is most reliable.. My feeling is that the external shots from both games is more reliable than the training room. Just because there is absolutely no way you could fit an AT-ST in any of the cutscenes in the first game.

Size matters not... see the thread about wave 4 ships. :D

The big ships are technically wave 3.5 along with the Imperial Aces. Wave 4 has not been announced yet..Can't wait to see what they cook up next though!
