Some Google-fu found me this , which says that they're open 12-8 today. If you want to get a game in tonight, I might be able to meet you (and the shop's group, if they're playing tonight?) there.

Does anyone know when/where any store championships are being held this year?

So far there are two I am aware of:

Grand Slam in Loveland's is listed for Jan 31st, limited space (pre-reg suggested), 10 dollar entry. Starts at 1pm

Wizards Chest, in Denver is listed for Feb 7th. Starts at 11 (subject to change) probably going to have limited space as well, so I'm guessing max players will be 16. I am working out the details for that one myself. Entry is 10.

Haunted Game in Fort Collins has a kit, and so does Petrie's & Gamer's Haven in Colorado Springs. Chaos Games in Pueblo got one too. I do not know details for any of those locations at the present time.

I have reached out to all the shops to try to get information for everyone, but the ones I haven't gotten info from have not provided it to me.

Thanks, Jon! Do you know how one might go about pre-registering for either of those two you suggested? I'm hoping to go to both, but I don't know if I'll make it up to Wizard's Chest....

You can pre-register with Grand Slam by calling, RSVPing on their Facebook, or emailing the shop. I am working out details for Wizards Chest, but I imagine calling is the best way to do it.

Currently RSVP'd numbers are:

Wizards Chest: 11 going, 5 maybe

Grand Slam: 5 going, 5 maybe

So jump on Wizards chest ASAP, and maybe get on Grand Slam too.

I registered at the chest by calling Ailowyn, I'm sure you'll have no problems. I hope there's slots left in Loveland :/ I haven't registered yet.

So is anyone getting together for some games tonight? I missed out last night due to life wanting something else from me.

I don't know of anyone gaming tonight, but tomorrow night @ Wizards is a competitive evening!

I won't be able to attend as I have family flying into town that evening, but plenty of people should need to scratch the itch if you want to go!

I will try for Friday night then. Bummer you won't be there - I have a new squad that I'm getting ready for the Store Championships with and I wouldn't mind an opinion on. Ah well. Maybe I can get there on a Wed. Thanks a mil!

Gamer's Haven Store Championships were announced today to be:

Star Wars X-Wing: Saturday, March 7th at 11:30am

They will be asking players to signup in advance and to prepay at time of signup, as I assume space is limited.

Also, Tradesmart in Littleton recently announced running weekly X-Wing nights on Saturdays.

Starts at 5, I hear when you go in you should "go upstairs" to find the playing area.

Hi all, looks like I will be visiting Denver the next couple of days. I'll be arriving tomorrow afternoon and will try to get to the Wizard's Chest by 7pm, maybe a bit later. I'll be jetlagged out of my mind so if I prove to be a pushover that will be my excuse .

We have a group that comes in and plays on Thursdays, sometimes they switch it up to other games but they are pretty into X-Wing and play regularly. We haven't gotten anything official set up yet for X-Wing but we would like to. Our first organized play kits will be coming in March for the new season of OP and we will set up an official night for X-Wing! If you have any suggestions for a night that works or anything else X-Wing related we would love to hear them! Also if you have a group that needs a place to play we are more than willing to host it here!

Lee - I posted to Rogue Roost's facebook wall, and I am quoting their response to you below:

"There is usually a group playing tonight, sometimes they switch it up. Groups are more then welcome to come and play though, and we will have the organized play starting in March when the new season starts."
