Lord Boromir Deck

By Tracker1, in Strategy and deck-building

The following deck is one I just started working on. I'm liking it a lot. Boromir can become a beast. There are very few tactics cards in the deck, so he is just stock pilling resources. I also get Horn of Gondor on him and then every round I use spirit Bofur's quest action to give him an additional resource. I've had 12 or more resources in his pool. He once defended and destroyed two cave trolls in the same turn. Pretty epic when it all works out. The rest of the deck is trying to give questing support with spirit. One of the problems is card draw and getting the cards on Boromir fast enough. Oh yeah, there is also no treachery or shadow cancelation, which could be added if needed. Also, Gondorian Discipline has been really great in this deck, it has kept Boromir a live a few time. THis deck could probably be worked on a bit more, so I'd love to hear what others think.

I'm sorry I haven't posted my latest version of the Boromir-Strider-Glorifindel(S) deck. I really like Strider in this deck because then you really don't care about threat. I agree that Boromir is the work horse of the deck, but it comes at a cost. I'll try to get it up in the next couple of days.

You've got a great red-blue deck here though. I think the new card that let's you cycle for another Galadhrim's Greeting might be good in here too.
